I am so very excited to be a part of Knit Nation 2010 July 29 -31.  This event is hosted by Alice Yu of Socktopus (of blog and sock pattern site fame) and by Cookie A.  Here's what will be happening there:
  • Marketplace open Friday and Saturday – Check out the fantastic collection of local and international vendors.
  • Classes available Thursday, Friday and Saturday taught by world reknowned knitters (see below)
  • Ravelry talk given by Jess & Casey
  • Book signings of popular authors scheduled throughout the expo
  • Ravelry party hosted by Jess & Casey
  • Trade only breakfast meet & greet
Knit Nation Summer Expo 2010 will be held at Imperial College in South Kensington, London. Imperial College is adjacent to the Victoria & Albert Museum, a stone’s throw from the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Geographical Society and an easy five minute stroll to Kensington Gardens. Many fabulous teachers will be there: Shirley Paden, JC Briar, Anne Hanson, Judith Mackensie McCuin, Merike Saarnit, Cookie A, Nancy Bush, Wendy Johnson, Clara Parkes, Lexi Boeger, Chrissy Gardiner, Janel Laidman,and me!  I'll be teaching my Traditional Gansey Techniques class as well as my Top-Down Aran Cardigan class and Latvian Fingerless Gloves.
