Jerod's Gansey Easy
This gansey is knitted in Guernsey or sport weight yarn at a more relaxed gauge than is traditional. First published in Piecework magazine. The garment includes horizontal patterning and simple shoulder extensions, seam stitches, bisected underarm gussets, and ribbed cuff, neckband, bottom edge. The gauge is 6 stitches and 8 rows/ inch in St st. Featured Techniques: Multi-strand Cast-on (gansey weight only), Rig 'n' Furrow Shoulder Extensions, Kitchener Stitch.
