This kit consists of the pattern, two skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor, plus a few yards of a contrasting color for the cast-on, all in a see-through zippered project bag. Choose from five colorways!
This design first appeared in Interweave’s Knitting Traditions Magazine in the Fall of 2011. It is assumed the knitter has not twined knitted before, so this pattern serves as a mini-class!
Directions are given for both the right and left gloves, rather than requiring the knitter to reverse shaping, and charts are included using the traditional twined knitting symbols. There are suggested books for further study, and a glossary is included.
The cuff is decorated with different motifs, and a medallion motif is worked on the hand.
