2020

January:  Suzanne Bryan – Off the Cuff with Special Guest Beth Brown-Reinsel

Suzanne Bryan interviewed me for around an hour on my background as a teacher and researcher.  I showed some of my examples of the historic sweaters I have studied.  There are helpful time-stamps below the video to allow you to hop to the parts you are most interested in.

 

2019

Early June: After a wonderful week of workshops, I spoke, and gave a slide show, at the National Silk Museum in Hangzhou, China: European Knitting Traditions in the 19th Century.  This YouTube video is one hour and 6 minutes long.

Late June: The Fruity Knitting Podcast, Episode 78. This interview is about 22 minutes long. I talk about different knitting traditions, and some of the construction techniques and samplers I teach.

 

2018

April: An article by Carolyn Vance, about Beth  in TKGA’s April 2018 K2tog Newsletter

June: As part of the 2018 FisherFolk event in Cordova, AK, I gave a slide presentation. Plus some knitters modeled my garment from my latest book!  Thanks to Dotty Widmann of the NetLoft (who sponsors the FisherFolk events) for the video, which is around 34 minutes long.

November: The Knitting Guild Association, Cast On Winter 2018-2019:  Book Review, by Christina Hangar, of the new Knitting Ganseys.  Note: you must be a member of TKGA and log in to the site to be able to view the article.
