Materials

  • Yarn: 100g skeins of Guernsey or sport weight yarn (246 yds/skein) for a heavier sock OR 100g skeins of sock yarn or fingering weight yarn for a lighter sock.
  • In two colors: Main Color (MC): 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins; Contrast Color: (CC): 1 skein
  • In five colors: Main Color (MC): 1 (1, 1, 2, 2) skeins; Approximately 1/2 oz. each of five other colors. (I used Rust for MC, brown, plum, olive, and taupe for CC.)
  • Needles: US size 2 (2.75 mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
