A NEW Pattern: Sanquhar Sheep!

This pattern is a collaboration between my friend John Crane and myself. He designed the sheep motifs to fit into the little squares of the classic Sanquhar glove layout, and knit the gloves according to my instructions.  He made a pair for himself and one for me! What a guy!  What a great knitter!

This pattern, like most Sanquhar gloves, is based on your gauge, so depending on the finished size you want, you will adjust your needle size and yarn weight accordingly.  John used Brooklyn Tweed’s Peerie, a fingering weight yarn for both pairs.  If you want to knit a children’s glove, however, I would suggest laceweight yarn instead.  You can purchase the pattern here on my website.
